Monet Tyler has been a Realtor specializing in residential resale and presales for 18 years. She started her business by moving to Port Moody, where she knew no one. Through hard work, incredible customer service and determination she has become the top selling agent in Port Moody since 2007, and the top selling agent in the Tri-Cities since 2014. 80% of her business is referral-based, from satisfied clients and their families and friends. Monet’s first home buying experience was assisting in the building of her own custom home near Dallas, Texas when she was 29 years old. This offered her the experience of seeing firsthand what goes into a home from below the ground and up: valuable knowledge that she’s now able to pass on to her clients. Her extensive 20 years of experience in International Sales and Marketing from a previous career has ensured that she gives only first class marketing and service when she represents her clients and sells their homes. Extensive travel to 38 different countries prepared her for working with many diverse personalities and cultures. Her current clients represent 48 different countries!
A consistent top producer, Monet was recently awarded the Executive Circle Award for 2022 from Royal LePage representing the top 2% for Canada. Monet is a “Lifetime Member” of the Royal LePage Award of Excellence (as Royal LePage’s highest award in recognition of truly exceptional longer-term selling achievement). She received the Diamond Master Medallion award in 2022 from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for 16 years and is consistently in the top 1-10% of Realtors. Monet offers a high level of personal, professional and committed care to each client. She makes it her mission to get to know each family member (plus their dogs and cats!) and treats them like she was helping her own family buy or sell a home.
Immersed in the local community, Monet supports an extensive range of charities: the Port Moody Firemen’s Charity, Eagle Ridge Hospital, Port Moody Amateur Hockey Association, Coquitlam Girls Softball, Port Moody Aquarians, Canuck’s Autism, Kidsport Tri-Cities, Cops for Cancer, Heritage Woods’ Secondary School Theatre Group and also Dry Grad, Lumara Grief and Bereavement Care, Reese Mueller Memorial, and of course the Royal LePage Shelter fund for women’s and children’s shelters across Canada.
Monet works hard, so she plays hard too! Any time off is spent taking her 2 daughters, son-in laws, and 3 grandsons off to Disneyland, Safari in San Diego, cruises in the Caribbean, pirate ship adventures off Padre Island, and this summer, an Alaskan cruise and trip to Scotland!
