It’s that time of year again!

Gift guides aren’t normally my thing, but I made one a few years ago and some people have asked me to make another. So I’ve given it my best shot. These aren’t necessarily products I recommend, but rather products that I want, or gifts I’m thinking of giving to some of the people on my list. If you’re in search of ideas, check ’em out.

Phone Loop

It may not look like much, but hands down, the best present I’ve received in the last year is my phone loop. If you’ve ever dropped your phone, or even had a close call, this will make your life a million times easier. Everyone on my list is getting one in their stocking this year.

The Hot Sauce Cookbook

Is it just me or is everyone really into hot sauce lately? I’ve got someone on my list who eats it at pretty much every meal and is always in search of new flavours. Rather than buying actual sauce, this time around I’m gifting her with this. I fully expect a dinner invitation in return.

Contigo Travel Mug

Are you someone who travels with tea or coffee? If so, I definitely recommend this travel mug. Not because I have one myself, but because almost everyone in my office does and they can’t say enough good things about them. In fact, one colleague lost hers and is convinced someone else in the office stole it. It’s been two years and we still haven’t heard the end of it…

Amazon Smart Plug

Those of you who use Alexa at home might like this. The Amazon smart plug works with it to add voice control to any outlet. Ah, technology – I both love it and fear it at the same time!

Neck Massager

I love a good massage, but these days I have less and less time to actually go and get a proper one. But I still strongly believe in the importance of taking care of your health and being good to your body. So I think I may gift myself one of these. The ability to massage my sore neck at any time I want seems almost too good to be true.

Video Recording Drone

If you know anyone who’s interested in creative video-taking, a drone can make a great gift. We use some pretty high-quality models on set, but this type of drone can be great for anyone who likes to film as a hobby. Recently I’ve started watching some of the videos people take in old abandoned warehouses. Very cool.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Moose Mug

My favourite Christmas movie of all time! I can’t believe I don’t own the Griswold Moose mug yet. If nobody gives me this I’m going to bite the bullet and get one for myself. As far as I’m concerned, every Dad should have one.

Give the gift of bathroom storage! Ok, I know it’s a stretch for a holiday gift guide, but what can I say – any excuse to plug my new vanity! 🙂
