A lifelong Vancouver Island resident, Janice has proudly served clients since becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 2004. Before entering real estate, she spent ten years working as a paralegal, developing a strong foundation in contracts, negotiations, and attention to detail. While that legal background has been invaluable throughout her career, Janice believes her greatest strength is helping clients understand the buying and selling process so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
The greatest compliment Janice receives is when clients tell her they never felt pressured, that she was always quick to respond, and that they knew she was genuinely focused on helping them find the right home – not simply completing another transaction. Building lasting relationships based on trust, honesty, and exceptional service has always been at the heart of her business.
Janice is also passionate about advancing the real estate profession. Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles at the local, provincial, and national levels, including serving as Chair of the British Columbia Real Estate Association in 2022 and President of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board in 2017. In 2021, she was honoured to be named the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board’s REALTOR® of the Year, and in 2024, she received one of the organization’s highest honours when she was awarded Honorary Membership in recognition of her outstanding service to the profession.
Outside of real estate, Janice is an active Rotarian who enjoys volunteering in her community, competing internationally in amateur 8-ball pool, and curling at the Nanaimo Curling Club.
Tom complements Janice’s strengths with his thoughtful, analytical approach and unwavering commitment to his clients. Known for his patience and creative problem-solving, he excels at finding solutions when transactions become complex. Tom continually develops his negotiation expertise through ongoing education with the Harvard Program on Negotiation, ensuring clients benefit from the latest strategies and best practices.
A passionate real estate investor himself, Tom enjoys sharing his knowledge with both first-time and experienced investors, helping them identify opportunities and build long-term wealth through real estate. His background in software development and technology also gives the team a significant advantage in today’s digital marketplace, allowing them to leverage innovative marketing strategies that maximize exposure for every listing.
Outside of real estate, Tom competes internationally in amateur 8-ball and 9-ball and is currently pursuing a lifelong dream of earning his private pilot’s licence. Whether he’s preparing for competition or flight training, his dedication to continuous learning reflects the same focus and determination he brings to every client relationship.
